Our Care and Support Workers – we provide a trained, compliant and SSSC registered care or support worker that you can trust.
We understand you or your loved one’s safety is paramount. That is why we go to great lengths to ensure that all our professionals are people who either you or your whole family can trust.
All the professionals we employ have full background checks, referencing, PVG check (Police Check), full training (including training that is relevant to an individuals needs) and they are registered with SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) to prove they reach the standards you expect. All our professionals meet the standards of the Care Inspectorate, who regulate our services, and you can find our latest grading on our individual branch pages, or on the Care Inspectorate website.
More affordable than you think
People often think that receiving care or support in your own home is unaffordable. There are a number of ways to access funding, there are a number of different factors that will determine what you are entitled to, and also who may fund this
Follow our five-step plan to get everything you are eligible for:
1. Claim all the benefits you are entitled to. 2. Apply for NHS Continuing Healthcare. 3. Get funding from your local council. 4. Use your assets. 5. Use money that may have been paid as compensation to help with any care and support needs.
A deeply personal touch
Once we have assessed an individual’s needs and a package of care or support is agreed, we then undertake a thorough process to ensure that we match the right professional to best meet the needs of an individual, this includes both skills and personality.
That means taking the time to paint a picture of the kind of person that is needing care or support and then undertaking a full assessment to ensure that we match the right professional with the right person, this is crucial to ensure that the person who requires care and support has their needs best met.
Here at JFG our support does not stop with the provision of one of our professionals to deliver the care and support needed, this is the start of the journey and we have a wider team of people who not only support the individual requiring care and support, but also supporting the professional who delivers the care, everyone who is connected in our business is important, so in respect of the individual needing care and support we continually provide.
24 hour on call service
Six monthly care and support plan reviews – more frequently if required and in line any changing needs.
Annual full care and support assessment review – more frequently if required.
Access to training for family members if required.
Full access to interview any potential professionals.
Offered involvement in our training programmes, so that the professionals we employ understand what it is like to receive care and support.
Regular business updates
Regular quality assurance surveys so we can understand any improvements we may need to make in our service.
Opportunity to be involved in our care forums.
Additionally, it is important we continue to support our professionals and therefore we offer the following:
Supervisions every 12 weeks so we can provide support and guidance when needed.
Annual appraisal – it is important that we look to develop our workforce.
Access to full training, including specialist training as required.
Access to our company bespoke app, which provides connection with other professionals and offers access to policies and business updates.
